“What is CrossFit?”

CrossFit is, quite simply, a sport—the “sport of fitness.” We’ve learned that harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition, and fun of sport or game yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other means.

One day, CrossFit might be Olympic lifting. The very next day, you might run a 5K. The next day, you may do a heavy workout that involves pullups, pushups, wallballs, jumping up and down off of 24″ boxes. It means something different every day, but every day it means fitness. This is the best fitness program you will find.

CrossFit involves a group-workout environment that provides encouragement, camaraderie, and just enough “competition” that drives you to work harder than you would alone. You will find yourself chasing fitness goals that you never thought you could achieve; rope climbs, lifts, speed, endurance. You will be coached properly by expert trainers who will provide effective and safe warm ups, cool downs, and stretching to keep you injury free. In a word, CrossFit is fitness.
