As a gym owner and mother of two very active boys, I understand the demands of balancing a busy life with the desire to stay fit and healthy.

I enjoy coaching and using CrossFit methodology to train myself and my athletes to maintain strength and lead a balanced, energized life. I began coaching others because I believe in the life changing benefits of functional fitness and proper nutrition. My goal as a coach is to encourage individuals to make long term lifestyle changes. I have found that the scalability of the exercises and intensity of CrossFit and its base of functional movements make it a great program for individuals of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. My goal is to connect with each Athlete that enters the facility for coaching in a way that motivates and encourages them to perform at their highest level of fitness. I am committed to staying in shape, live a full life and help others find their balance. I am committed to passing on an example of a healthy lifestyle and balanced life to my children.

Since discovering CrossFit in March 2009, I have been incorporating the workouts of the day (WOD) into my workout regimen. I continued doing the typical weight training and cardio routines 3-4 days a week and a CrossFit workout 1-2 days a week. I continued this schedule for 6-8 months. I began to see some definite improvements, but again plateaued. It wasn’t until March 2010 I joined CrossFit Power Performance and the breakthrough occured. Working out in the group setting, and making CrossFit my primary workout philosophy was exactly what I needed to launch my fitness level to new heights. The daily WOD’s combined with a zone based “clean” diet has allowed me to achieve goals I’ve been striving for since I began training for High school sports. I continue to set new PRs (personal records) regularly. CrossFit has become a HUGE part of my life!

As a firefighter/paramedic my level of physical fitness is paramount to my ability and success on emergency incidents. CrossFit has better prepared me (physically and mentally) for my profession, as well as life in general. I began to share my knowledge of CrossFit methodology to fellow firefighters. Several began to join me in the daily WOD’s. Seeing their improvements, and knowing I played a small part in their success, was rewarding beyond any personal accomplishment in recent history. I knew then that I wanted to be a CrossFit trainer. If you are willing to commit, myself and the other talented trainers can help you achieve fitness levels you never thought possible. No matter your fitness or exercise background!!

CrossFit Level 1 (2017)

My Military Background: I enlisted in the Military at the age of 17 in 2013 and signed for 6 years as an Army Military Police Officer. I have been deployed once to southern Turkey.

My Goals: I am currently in the National Guard and pursuing a career as a Chiropractor. I am attending school at the University of Cincinnati for prerequisites with the intent to transfer to the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Why I coach: I coach for the love of CrossFit. CrossFit has been my passion for the last two years and I enjoying doing it every day. I began doing CrossFit on my deployment to Turkey and have loved it ever since. I like most of the movements but enjoy the body weight & gymnastics movements the best. My goal is to still be doing CrossFit when I'm 80 years old. With a great community like Power Performance pushing, inspiring & challenging me every workout, I am sure to stay true to my longevity CrossFit goals.

I am dedicated to helping any level athlete to reach their fitness goals safely.

My name is Andrea and I’m excited to join the CFPP team to teach mobility classes.

I started CrossFit in 2015 and fell in love with the combination of strength, gymnastics, and high intensity workouts, especially Olympic lifting. I have tried a lot of workout routines in my life, but nothing has given me the strength and results that I have seen with CrossFit. It’s also the only thing that makes me feel like a badass, which being a 5’2” woman is a big deal.

In my day job, I am a physical therapist with specialties in orthopedic manual therapy, sports medicine, and dry needling. I work with athletes recovering from injuries or surgeries in order to get them back to the activities that they love. This lead me to start teaching mobility courses for CrossFit athletes. I love to pinpoint limitations or movement patterns with athletes that may be holding them back from perfecting their lifts or maximizing their abilities. Come take a class with me to work out those tight spots and see what good mobility can do for you!

I have worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor since 2012. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise, carry an Eleiko Strength and Conditioning Coach certification, Calisthenics Level I and II certifications and am CPR certified.

I have always been drawn to the good old-fashioned, classic barbell lifts and short, high-intensity workouts. This (combined with appropriate nutrition of course) is what efficiently gets you strong and fit without risking overtraining! No-brainer! After many years of trying all different types of exercise I realized that CrossFit was so aligned with everything I had learned through my years of education and experience. I joined a box in 2017 and was instantly addicted to the workouts and community aspect. And when I realized there are so many amazing and adorable CrossFit shoes on the market, there was no turning back. As a coach, there is nothing more rewarding than helping others reach their fitness potential, feel better in their daily activities, gain confidence, and make great friendships along the way. It is amazing how simply showing people how to move better can change their lives.

I have been married since 2003 and we have a 10 year old daughter who just started CrossFitting herself. I enjoy being (mostly) a stay at home Mom and wife. In my spare time I enjoy watering my flowers, listening to fitness and nutrition podcasts, cooking healthy, walking my dog, and shopping.

I was introduced to crossfit in 2013 by a friend who was just starting her journey. In the very beginning my thoughts were "they're going to expect me to lift that amount of weight and swing like a monkey on those bars??!!! these people are crazy". As the days, weeks, months and years went on I fell in-love with it ALL!!! I went from 3 days a week to 5 (sometimes even 6). I get bored very easily and I'm not self-motivating. To this day I have yet to be bored, I'm lifting those weights and swinging like a monkey. The classes, the people and the coaches keep me motivated and moving. Power Performance has become my second home. The people and the coaches are amazing, and I have met some long-term friends along the way.

I love watching my fellow athletes accomplish movements they doubted they could do and lifting weights that have them feeling nervous. During the 2018 Crossfit Opens I was excited to help "judge" (I prefer to call it "counting reps") my fellow athletes. This is when emotions are high and the energy level is through the roof. I got emotional with every single person. I watched them sweat, heard them use adult language and cry because they accomplished/super-ceded a goal. Many high fives were given and hugs all around. It's times like these (along with other competitions) that our community becomes a tight knit family. It's these moments that inspired me to become a coach. We all need encouragement and I love being that "whisper" in your ear. I will support you to the end and happily hug you when it's over.

My proudest moments have been:

  • 1) when I did my first un-assisted pull-up after 2 yrs
  • 2) doing a handstand against the wall because I doubted myself
  • 3) got the hang of double-unders (I'm still working on these, too)

But most of all, I stopped holding myself back from "fear" of becoming the light in my own darkness. Crossfit has taught me "never judge a book by its cover". We are all amazing human beings with bodies that are meant to move around and move things around. I love a good challenge and have been humbled by many of them. Don't let your mind get in your way of reaching your goals in the fitness arena. A healthy mind and a healthy body are the best suits of armor one can wear. I wear mine proudly and sometimes my crown needs readjusting. My name is Michelle and I will see you in class.
Massage Therapy

My name is Ali Stewart and I was born and raised here in Loveland. I earned a Bachelors Degree from Morehead State University and then found myself moving and traveling all over the world!

I joined Crossfit Ansbach while living in Germany and when I returned to the States I became a Level 1 Certified Crossfit Coach. Now that I am settled back in Cincinnati, I have finally been able to pursue a second career in massage therapy.

I am very excited to work with Power Performance because I love being able to combine these two passions! I have found that having the same “language" as my Crossfitting clients, and knowing how they move, truly simplifies and enhances the massage experience.

I have recently opened my own business, Evee Massage Therapy, and I can not wait to provide my clients with the one-on-one attention to body, mind, and spirit that every human being deserves.

Nutrition coach

I have a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification in Exercise Nutrition which is a comprehensive nutrition education program. I have been working with clients for over 3 years to help people achieve their health and wellness goals. My goal is to educate, support and empower everyone I work with.
Through my personal journey I became aware that health and wellness not only relies on knowing what to do, but how to make it happen in our ongoing, busy lives. I practice a “progress over perfection” approach which allows clients to create a healthy life in a way that is maintainable, flexible, and rewarding one step at a time.
I have experience in working with a variety of clientele from people who would like to reach their optimal weight by losing pounds and inches, increase muscle mass through a combination of diet and exercise, eliminate food groups and/or foods that are not ideal for their health, and people who want to improve their overall health using diet and exercise. I have experience in working with different meal plans that include low-carb, keto, paleo, gluten free, and dairy free.
My overall goal is to help people develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for them and implement changes that will improve their health and help them reach their goals.
